明けましておめでとう Happy New Year 2009
2008 is gone and we have finally crossed over to 2009. What will be install for me for this brand new year? Well, I ain't sure but I hope it would be equally exciting as 2008.
Looking back at 2008, it wasn't a bad year after all. The first quarter was relatively boring without a single tinge of excitement. I merely commute to and fro from airport & home for work each and every single day. My stay with Cargolux Airlines ended that quarter.
I decided to further my studies at PSB with a Bachelor in Commerce major in Marketing by University of Western Australia. It has sure kept me real occupied and busy. Well, another 5 more terms to go. Hang in there. I pretty much enjoy studying.. if only I can do it full-time, that would be awesome.
In May, in search of my passion, I began a brand new chapter with All Nippon Airways (ANA). To date, I'm still enjoying what I'm doing and working in the Japanese environment. Though there are times, rules are much stricter than any other corporate, still, it has been quite alright.
With this job, it has also given me the opportunity for travel to Japan. Visited 3 times this year and I'm really glad that I've been to Hokkaido in October. Its in the list of my dream destinations.
Then its work and studies, and ocassionally will squeeze out sometime for play. Its really weird, when we were in Army, time passed in turtle pace. Now that we're finally working, it like a blink of an eye. Or maybe its because I'm truly occupied, thus, I didn't realise how fast the earth is moving everyday.
Celebrated the last day of the year for a steamboat dinner at 7th Storey Steamboat Restaurant located at Marina Barrage. Previously it was at the 7th Storey Hotel at Bugis Area. We get out from the crazy place at 10p.m. and headed to Joey's place for party and drinking. Absolutely crazy and beyond description. The way we drank was horribly crazy. I don't wanna look back. I wasn't drunk, but when I get high, I tend to be a noise pollutant. haha! Together with Ting and Joey, we made a din. But, Joey is still the KING and we're proud to say - No one else can replace him. haha!
Angela Dajie got married last Sunday and I attended the simple wedding reception at her place. :) Met familiar faces and really thank her for inviting me. Dajie, happy marriage and stay blissful.
I guess that's about all. And when the photos are ready, I'll upload them. Nowadays, i'm kind of lazy to upload photos on blog. Coz facebook can do it all.
Alrighty! Have a good and wonderful year ahead people!
